This smoothie was something that I developed over the course of a few months. Now, we drink it almost every single day. My toddler impatiently waits by the blender cheering when it is done. I thought my teenager would hate it but he lights up when I make it as well. My Mom who has a pickier palette than our toddler even enjoys this as well.
With only six ingredients it is really easy to keep these on hand. I usually chop up the frozen bananas prior to throwing it in the Vitamix but some people cut up bananas prior to freezing. I feel like Cinnamon was the ingredient all of my previous green smoothies were missing it really is the cherry on top of the sundae. I hope that you enjoy this smoothie as much as we do!
Family Favorite Green Smoothie
- 1 1/4 cup Non Dairy Milk
- 2 Frozen Bananas
- 1/2 cup Frozen Kale
- 2/3 cup Fresh Spinach
- 2 Dates*
- 1/8 tsp Cinnamon
First pour in the milk and then follow with the rest of the ingredients
Mix it up in a high speed blender and enjoy! I also like to throw in a few ice cubes as well!
*Non pitted dates are much softer and easier to blend
